3D Design Preview for a Custom backyard paver patio

Every great patio starts with a plan. Before a single stone gets set, we put together a full 3D design so the customer can see exactly what they're getting. No guessing, no surprises. Just a clear picture of the finished space before the build ever begins.

Here's what we came up with for this backyard. The customer wanted something that felt intentional - a real outdoor living space, not just a slab of concrete off the back door. The design features a raised paver patio with a structured retaining wall border, wide stone steps leading down to the yard, and built-in step lighting throughout. It's a clean, modern look that works just as well at night as it does during the day.

The lighting detail is one of our favorite parts of this design. Step lights and wall-mounted fixtures are built right into the hardscape, so the space stays functional and inviting well after the sun goes down. That's the kind of detail that separates a good patio from a great one.

What we also love about this layout is how the retaining wall doubles as a seating perimeter. It defines the space, adds structure, and keeps things feeling cozy without closing everything in. The paver field itself gives plenty of room for a full outdoor dining setup, which is exactly what this customer had in mind.
